My fridge wasn`t working connected to the car. Engineer suspected pin 6 on plug was closed so opened up slightly but only lasted one trip. It`s now really hard to plug and unplug and doesn`t always work,the connect is 12s&12n to 13pin.Any suggestions please.

If you are using an adaptor then it could well be faulty wiring in that. You have to check all connections. If you have 13 pin socket on car then best bet is to get 13 pin plug on caravan. If you are paying to get it fixed anyway you might as well pay to get job done properly.
