hi guys my thetford fridge is not cooling was working fine last time used only 2 weeks ago . its lights fine on gas and is getting power with 240 there is heatcoming from the vent but not chilling down inside.. if any one can help..Thanks
i would say its not a 100% level as my drive is slopping all vents clear thermostat on full im out in it tomo so will try getting it level and see how we go..thanks
well am.out today level as can be lighting on gas fine fridge still not cooling.. ive cleaned the burner tipped it upside down many times and you can here the gases running through the pipe so haven't lost the gasses ..could it be the thermostat or the control unit ..or do the gases go of and can you get them refilled..
Can't be the thermostat or control unit, as you say the back is getting warm. The gasses don't go off but a percentage of them could have leaked out. Did you see any brown deposits on the pipes round the back? Or Are they rusty?
You can't refill absorption fridges, if all the components are working and there's no cooling effect, they're scrap.
Take the alloy fins out inside and see if there is any kind of cooling effect on the evaporator pipes behind.
The fins have got Phillips screws holding them on on mine.
