Please can anyone help we have a whale pump and when you turn the taps on the pump pulsates and the lights dim it still works but we get constant clicking from the relay, the water does not seem to be running as fast as our previous caravan did
I am not familiar with caravans but had the same symptoms in my camper. I traced the problem to a loose connection in the relay. As others have indicated, it is a symptom of low voltage.
Anyone having water pump problems should try removing the filter altogether (assuming you have one) this is often the cause - I have never replaced mine and lived to tell the tale 😀
is the tap opening fully, mine will do something similar unless tap is open sufficiently. basically i can make this happen by only opening the tap a little way.
