The small front window on my 2007 Elddis Amber has come away from the caravan at its hinges is this a costly repair

Not necessary the complete hinge rail needs to come off if you have caught it early enough the wood the rail screws to will not be rotten so just a case of running mastic tape along the back of the rail after cleaning to old stuff off and re screwing the rail back and a blob of soudal RV61 on the screw heads and ends.
