My tap has been leaking at the bottom bend, so I've bought a replacement. The water pipes are crimped onto the tap connections, how do I get these off and re-crimp? Or can I use new tap parts and incorporate onto old tap, replacing everything but the base connections.

Okay, thanks, I bought a new tap because the spout and knuckle are split as well. I'll just change it all over.
