Just bought a 97'Elddis Select Gold 2 berth and the kitchen hot water tap stops running after aprox 10 seconds ? The other taps and shower are fine . Any ideas ?
air lock? try leaving it turned on and see if the air comes out might start spiting and hissing a bit before running smoothly, you should be doing this before turning the water boiler on tho
There may be a gauze filter that screws on the end of the tap which is restricting the flow of water. If there is then unscrew it and have a look as sometimes bits of limescale flow through from the heater element in the hot water tank and get trapped.

You don't say how old the caravan is or whether or not you have a micro-switch controlled system.
If you have then I would suggest that the switch on the hot tap could be failing.
You can check this by opening the tap and waiting for the water to stop running. Leave the tap open and then open another tap. If the first tap then flows I would suspect the micro-switch is indeed faulty.
