Hi all. I've just started my caravan water ingress repair. I have 2 leaks from what I can make out. The awning rail was letting water in and the timber that the rail screws into had all but fallen apart. Is it hard to replace the plywood around the insinuation? Any tips for doing this job? I'll try and get some photos. The other leak is coming from the seal around the back window.
How hard anything is depends on your diy skills and confidence. Be aware that damp problems have a nasty tendency to become much larger jobs than the initial assessment.
Make sure to photo and measure/make drawings of everything before stripping out. Don't throw anything either till you 100% certain it won't be needed for reference.
