Hi All

Tackled and hopefully sorted the damp in the front of the Elddis, everything off and replaced, now for the bathroom :-)
Damp in the rear corner so have to remove the Thetford.
Any clues on what it is fixed to would be great. Inside the access door from outside it looks like the toilets back steel sheet is fixed to ply at the rear which is visible after removing the shelf to the rear of the toilet inside. Is it also fixed to the floor and/or the plastic base of the toilet or just slotted on to some sort of bracket.
Thank you for any guidance you can give

Dan

Hello flashard. The toilet is screwed to the floor through the bottom of the cassette apeture, remove the cassette and you will see four screws, remove these, cut round any silicone sealant on the inside, then you need to lift the toilet straight up to lift off a bracket that should be fastened to the rear wall.

Hope this helps?

Regards James

In the beginning there was darkness.
Then I bought a tent.
I'm not destitute, I'm just poor.

Yes there are 4 screws holding the thetford loo to the floor. The 2 screws at the back are really hard to find because you can't see them.

Pinch the wife's little make up mirror and you should be able to see them.

Thankyou all for the info.
Funnily enough I already have the wifes old make up mirror for just these little testers!!
Got one of the front screws out eventually and yes it was well rusted on the crosshead.
Looks like I will have to drill the heads off the other 3. I guess thats a familiar story considering the screws are probably sat in a watery well for most of their life.
