Well I have finally finished cutting our 26ft Lunar Solaris by hand and it's come up like new all the sun bleached has come off
I did by mistake not notice sticker and tcutted that so now have to buy knew one
Windows look like knew as well as tcutted them and it took off all slight scratches
Can honestly I am so pleased with result looks like knew again
So I can say if your caravan looking drab and dull
If you spend hours tcutting   & waxing you won't need a knew one as you will think you have knew one

Paint is applied at the manufacturing stage and the thickness is checked in microns. The application to sheet steel panels such as motor vehicles is thicker than that of what is applied to caravan aluminium panels so using 'T' Cut or any other abrasive cleaner has to be used with extreme caution because if used too often, the microns get thinner and eventually removing the surface paint altogether. I once knew someone who used to clean their new caravan with 'Jif' kitchen cleaner and although it looked clean to others on site it wasn't long before they wondered why the surface was looking dull in such a short time. Personally I would never use abrasive cleaners on the caravan surface, only on the acrylic windows to remove any scratches.

The reason tcutted was because after 12yrs the paint had become dull & sun bleached
It was also done by hand and cloth wet with water to eliminate hardness of clean
There was no other way to get it back to original colour
Now just plenty of wax to stop it getting sun bleached again don't intend tcutting again took 4 days

That's okay as I thought you intended using 'T' Cut on a regular basis but other than that it's a good tip to others who want to bring back the showroom shine on an old caravan.

Good grief no chance time it took alone to tcut that caravan now just washing and a good turtle wax to protect it from getting sun bleached again once a month and a good cover
Though can't complain caravan is in immaculate condition and was lucky to get one in such good condition had it 3 months and looking farward to using it

If using T-cut try to use T-cut for metallics as it has a much softer/finer less harsh cutting action as required by metallic paints.

Or failing that an industrial tube of Toothpaste, and it will smell minty too.
