Seeking advice on a possible solution.
I have an onboard zig 7 charger.
It has stopped charging my leisure battery however all of the 12 volt still works.
Because the battery isn't charging it drains when in use.
I can't find a zig 7 replacement and wondered whether a solution would be to plug a trickle charger into the 240 volt in my caravan and connect it to the battery that way it would stay charged. Or is this not advisable. Any help greatly appreciated.
You can use any brand of caravan onboard charger providing that the power ratings etc. are exactly the same. I couldn't get an identical replacement charger for my previous caravan as they were obsolete so I approached a local caravan repair shop who provided the above advice.
