This caravan seems to be 1 big problem. I changed the tyres yesterday and noticed rotten wood all the way from the wheelarch to the front where the skirting rail fixes. It looks like the floor is stapled to another internal wood piece then this bit fixes to it then the skirt & rail. There is a thin strip that looks like plastic covering the wood that has come away. The rest of the perimeter seems fine. Im a little worried if i remove the rail and skirt the floor may drop. Any ideas?

the floor is held up by the chassis.. its the side that will drop relative to the floor..
