hi folks'
thanks to my better half i have gained 3 holes in the worktop of my beloved 1996 bucaneer elan'i am trying to keep her as original possible. can anyone advize me how to go about repairing it.any help will be much apreciated.
You can buy worktop repair infill kits in a variety of colours, just choose the nearest one to match your surfaces. It wont be a perfect match, but it will be better than the blemishes that you have now.
Most large DIY or Kitchen fitters shops sell them, as do online stores such as Amazon or Ebay, worth a try.

I’d use some cataloy or similar filler for repairing car panels. It dries hard and tough, then a wee rub down and careful touch up with matching touch up paint or nail varnish ( you’d be surprised at the variety of colours). Take a pic of the w/top on your phone and conpare it when you go to the shops.
Worktops are usually hollow. I repaired one(which I was able to remove, but you can still do this if there is access)
Measure where the dent or hole is from 2 directions, then use a hole cutter on the underside to gain access. remove any bits of cardboard from the internal structure around said hole.
If you can invert the surface, press the bits of the top surface into place, trying to keep it flat. Then add some traditional Araldite over the whole area of damage plus a margin and leave to set 24 hours.
Alternatively bond a small plywood plate over and keep it weighted - you can use this technique if you cant invert the surface too.
Use a worktop filler to deal with any chips of surface that are missing
