Is positioning an axel stand on the axel just inside the chassis ok, as opposed to between the chassis and the wheel.

On my Alko I don't think there would be room between the chassis and the wheel, so yes it is OK on my Alko, although you don't say what chassis you have.

He is at Alko's own workshop and telling us we must only jack under the axle, or under the chassis in its vicinity (as per Alko's own advice), but the van he is using to show you is on a lift being supported near the ends of its chassis! A point picked up by some commenters.

Anyway, good advice comes around 50 seconds into the video.
