Hi I have just bought a 2017 coachman pastiche 520,and aim to fit solar panel, any advice please regarding best route of wiring from roof to battery box.I see that the wiring from the aerial comes down towards the battery would this be the way or at the rear through wardrobe?    cheers    ted

My Bailey Pursuit has a dealer retro fitted 100watt solar panel. The cable passes through the roof via a purpose made easement or gland. This has an external side entry for the cable before it passes through the roof.

The cable goes to a high level locker by the door and connects to a solar controller. This is accessible and has flashing LEDs etc and various setting which may be made.

The cable then passes down from the locker to the low level locker. This is actually the inside of the gas locker which in my van is in the middle of the side of the van. It's a cupboard inside the van and gas locker outside.

This cupboard gives access to the front under seat locker where the battery housing resides.

Thanks Navver it looks like your set up is similar to mine.
I have fitted to roof and wiring is going to use the Aerial wire channel down to battery box looks straight forward fingers crossed.   Cheers   Ted
