Hi,I have decided to use air to drain down the van for winter using a system I made like that called Floe.My van system is filled via an electric solenoid valve but I can bypass this valve and tank if desired.I wondered if I filled the system with air through the valve would the air cause any damage to the valve, the tank electronic float cut off system and the on board pump, regards Keith.
Hi Keith, as long as the pressure is kept low, (from memory I think the Floe works at a maximum pressure of 15 PSI) I don't think any damage will be done. The system is only pressurised for a short time to build up pressure then it's vented to blow the remnants of water out.
