We purchased a new lunar Stella from Marquis and immediately noticed water ingress in front locker after three visits back to their service area the water problem was resolved. Our last trip ended mid October and then recently tried to open the front locker but found both locks seized solid so back to service department.
Marquis quickly obtained new locks and fitted promptly.
So purpose of post is to warn other owners to ensure locks are oiled the original locks fitted by lunar had no rubber seals fitted hence the rust problem on a new caravan.

Much as I like our Luna Clubman I wouldn’t have another Lunar Caravan or Motorhome.

It has had a new back panel (it cracked). It has damp near the wheel arches and a spongy floor and its only 3 years old. Neither the dealer nor Lunar want to know.

When we change it before too much longer I’m probably going to give British vans a miss and go for something European with build quality that may last a bit longer.

Thoroughly disillusioned with Caravan Dealers and manufacturers alike.

Best Regards

David
