Does anybody know where I can get a light switch for an Avondale Argente 2005 caravan please, I want it side by side not slim. I live in the Birmingham area, I have tried a few local places but with no luck.

I'm finding this harder than looking for toilet roll !! LOL

Thanks for your help

Have you looked on Google Images for a light switch?
The description in your post is rather brief to conduct a search so having a look at a selection of double switches yourself will help to find an identical one to what you need.

I've Googled a lot of places already. There is only 4 wires that go into it, it just looks like a normal household double switch.

Many thanks

Is it one with round switches. If so these were originally made by Clipsall, an Australian company. The plastic was polycarbonate which is very strong and doesnt crack like most domestic light switches so ideal for caravans. They also did a wide range of colours.

They are marketed now by Schneider in the UK.

Many caravan accessory shops stock them.

The one that I have got is an Edison made in U.A.E.
The switches are sort of rounded, and I have tried a lot of caravan suppliers and breakers and I cannot get one.

Because my caravan is a 2005 a lot of the caravan shops now have stopped supplying and all they do is new caravan supplies.

Kind regards

My caravan is a 2004 model and found that some items are now obsolete as well so the only solution is to try several breakers as it's a part they would stock off the shelf. It will help if you provide a photo so they can identify a matching part.

Looking at those pictures they just look like a normal domestic double switch. Can you not get one from a DIY store or an electrical retailer, or are they a different size. It's difficult to tell scale from a picture.

Reckon its these, clipsall as I thought.

https://www.se.com/uk/en/product-range/62628-lisse/12144602371-lisse-screwless-dec........

Worth trying to get these as they are unbreakable.

The old range had a plate then the switches pushed in so you could pick and mix what you wanted.

Try yours and it may push back into place.
