Hi Everyone

I have bought a caravan coachman Mirage 500/5 think its a 1997? Anyway because of the age of the caravan and the work we have already had to do to it (scammed big time) I'm worried about the safety of the hob grill and oven and had thought about replacing them. Anyone have any advice ??

Why not have them serviced we had a scabby oven on our last van it was going to cost about £500 to replace

Sorry to read you were scammed, genuinely boils my blood hearing these stories.
But as above take it to a caravan service engineer, as not only with the gas, if it’s as bad as you reckon it may be, there could be other defects you haven’t spotted. Also check the tyres and make sure they’ve not exceeded their 5 year lifespan
