The water isn't coming out of the kitchen sink tap properly. I think the filter on the end of the tap needs cleaning but how do I get it off?. It doesn't screw in - there seems to be a slot at the back of the end bit. Can anyone help please?

I don’t know what tap you have but on ours, the end bit doesn’t come off. If you have a photo of the tap, someone will have the same one and know the answer.

It doesn't unscrew - it clips in some how. We have had it out once before but we can't remember how we did it 🤷‍♀️🙈

That looks just like our tap. On ours, the end bit popped out a couple of years ago and we spent ages trying to work out how to get it back in. It doesn’t screw in, you just line up the notch and then squeeze it in tight with a pair of pliers. However, it regularly pops out again and is a bit of a pain so I wouldn’t deliberately try to take it out or you may find yourself in more difficulty. Those taps are ridiculously expensive if you need a new one, we had to get one last year and we were shocked at the price. Luckily we were still under warranty and therefore got our money back for it.
