Evening. I've managed to fix a few problems in my caravan though I'm stuck with the heater not working. I get a heater faulty light on my PMS 2000 and the blown air beating isn't working. I hadn't tried it on gas just the electric. Neither the fan spins or does The heater make any clicks when I slide the any of the spiders on the top. Can anybody help?

and what was the reading on the battery when not connected up to the caravan?
13.8 tells me you got that when the battery was connected to mains, which means nothing as that rate is what is coming from the charger and not what the actual battery is holding on to

How long have you had this van? 'Heater switch' on pms2000 I'd expect is the Cascade water heaters gas control switch with 3 lights?
12v for 4000 fire goes straight to it via fuse in pms2000 so if other 12v stuff works, 5 &10 fuses are first things to check see if ones popped?

Hi,

I've not had the van very long, about a week in total. I've managed to understand why the light was coming on, it was the low gas pressure from the water heater. The only issue I have know is with the blown air heating, possibly its the PCB though at this stage I wouldn't want to say its something else, I have checked the fuses, they are all working fine, I've had long around the fire, I couldn't see anything obvious. could there be a reset witch or inline fuse?

Thanks,
Simon

Hi a quick update, I’ve now managed to get the gas side working. I’ve not been able to get the fan or electric element working yet. I was wondering if there should be any current to any of the six wires which connect to the pcb and also what each colour does / should be regarding type ie 12 volt positive?

I'm really stuck at the moment. There is both 240 and 12 volt dc getting to the fire. neither the electric element or the fan seem to work. there doesn't seem to be any current getting to the pcb, i have swapped it out for a new one i bought online from intec i believe. If anyone can offer any suggestions i would be interested to hear.

Thanks,
Simon
