I camp off grid at dog shows so have to make sure my batteries are fully charged before we go as there’s no way of changing on-site. First charger I tried was a car charger which was useless. Put practically no charge into the battery at all. I was then given a ctek smart charger from free cycle which has been wonderful. Unfortunately it has vanished from my van so I need a replacement. The trouble is I’m really struggling for money at the moment. Aldi have this one coming in next week which I could afford but is it suitable and will it fully charge my battery. If anyone has any advice or has used one I’d be grateful for your input

Both the Aldi and Lidl smart charger work well and are good value for money.

In my opinion the Aldi chargers are every bit as good as the Ctek ones but at a fraction of the price. I have used one for years to keep my leisure battery topped up over winter.
