My van roof hadn't been cleaned for a few years and was very green and filthy, Fenwicks Caravan Cleaner with the aid of a long handled wash brush got it impressively clean.
No reason why snowfoam would not work if left to dwell on the roof for a decent amount of time, and using an extending brush.
If not just re apply and go for it again, pretty sure it will work, I have used it on a very grotty VW van roof and it cleaned it up after a bit of effort.

I've used snow foam on my caravan roof a couple of times. Leave for 10mins and rinse off. Mostly all dirt runs off and then repeat with a bucket of car shampoo using an extending brush.

I didn't go with snow foam in the end. I used a concentrated solution of mud buster and sprayed on with a weed sprayer, left for a while and the scrubbed with brushes. Rinsed off and washed again with turtle wax, rinsed again and finally a spraying of Bobby Dazzler. Took around four hours in the end and still the rest of the van to do.
