------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
Yes filled the tank up bled the hot and cold water through the taps then turned the heater on, I've brought a new element and its connected to 240v checked circuit breaker not tripped running out of ideas now
ok so how long did you leave it to heat up? its not instant hot water, it takes about 15 mins before you will feel it getting warm, and around 25 mins to be hot enough for a shower/dishes
Can you check that voltage is actually reaching the element? If you are at all unsure about working with live mains electrics, get a professional to do it for you.
Not sure what water heater you have fitted, but my Truma Combi unit has a overheat trip (with reset button), and 12v and 240v Fuses as part of the unit (under a protective cover). See unit user manual for details.
Could be blown fuse or tripped overheat breaker on the unit.
Always a bit cautious of advising people to tinker with mains electrics when they don't appear to be too knowledgeable, and anyone knowledgeable would already have fault found their way through the unit to isolate problem/eliminate possible causes. Take care, or get an expert to investigate.
Thanks for replying left water heater on for a hour still no hot water 😩 checked fuses they ok not blown replaced element still nothing yet electric heater works it's a truma ultrastore and ultraheat
Ours would trip in cold weather, or was it if the heater was on with no waiter. From memory (it’s a while ago!) there was a button on the heater that popped out, and we’d just push it back in.
I’ve asked OH. It was years ago but he thinks he had to take a cover off to get to it.
Sorry I can’t be more specific - the Arc Systems contact is helpful when other folks have contacted them.
