Away in the van at present, noticed the two plugs that connect to the car, One black one white, when towing need replacing.
Bought them no probs, cheap as chips really.
Just wondering IF, they can be changed whilst the caravan is connected to the E H U. or do I nee to remove all electric supply before changing the plugs????
When disconnected from the car there should be nothing on the plugs.
You could switch off the 12v master switch in the van , personally I would switch everything off. No sparks then! Safety first!
If you have a meter you can check between earth and other pins first.
There will be about 13v from the onboard charger to the van battery while on mains.

The black one only runs the road lights so that would be no problem, but I would disconnect all power, including the leisure battery before opening up the other one or you could risk a short circuit if any of the wires touch.
