I was wondering if anyone have had problems with the blowers I've just bought a hobby caravan and the blowers are not coming on at all the gas heater works fine but no blowers🤷
Don't know much about the TT2 but it doesn't have its own fan, its simply a 5lt water drum, with a hole through the middle, for connection to the vans separate room heating systems blown air ducting, thereby making use of heat passing through that system aiding its own built in 2kw mains immersion heater.
So no air comes out of the ducts ? There is a switch for the blowers on top of the truma heater and there is ducting and various vents around the caravan and we don’t get no heat from them ?
Yes I’m connected to the mains and the only other thing that doesn’t seem to work is the igniter on the gas hob our previous van was a Bailey pageant so the hobby is all new to us
The gas fire supply's the heat or you may also have Truma's Ultraheat electric heating also fitted which can be used
Either way the water heater only makes use of the blown hot air passing through on its way to the vents
Sorry I'd got truma's TT2 water heater from somewhere where as it's their 12v TEB2 fan assembly you have the problem with?!
So usual problems with this to start looking at, are the control switch on the fire or control board within the fan assembly or damage to the connection cable between, especially damage to the exposed individual
wires near the switch.
No it's not! There is a quite heavy grey cable coming from the fan that plugs into the switch, with luck, it may have fallen back a little and the plug is caught hidden at the back under the aluminium heat shield on your side? or fallen back through so now behind the aluminium?
Great thanks I thought it weren’t right I’m going down the caravan tomorrow so I’ll have a look thanks for your input I really do appreciate it and I’ll post how I get on thanks again 👍
