Hi.
We have an Adria caravan with a Schaudt CSV300-3 electric unit in the wardrobe and something keeps blowing the glass fuse on the board.
At the moment electric hook up will only operate 240v sockets and fridge (even with fuse blown these still work) but no lighting throughout or water pumps. We can however use the lights through the leisure battery but again no water pump.
Each time I replace the glass fuse, it blows immediately when I plug the hook up in.
We've checked every is off prior to plugging the hook up in to illuminate what's causing the fuse to blow but cannot figure out what's causing it.
I suspect something on the main board may have failed, possibly in the area of the 240v step down to 12v which would explain why no 12v items work when just on hook up with no battery connected.
Has anybody had something similar?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Michael.
The battery will only work the lights and water pump. If the pump is not working from the battery, this is probably where the probliem lies.
What age is the caravan?
------------- XVI yes?
