Hi all just got back from a week away in the caravan. Half way through the week we noticed a drip from the corner of our Seitz midi heki rooflight, it wasnt raining at the time, so I had a look and there was a lot of standing water on the roof, we have never had an issue before, I cleared the water which was about 1/4 inch deep, I got my car jack and raised the caravan so the water would run off. We had more rain some heavy but it didnt leak again. I have had a look at it today, its 10 year old but the sealant looks intact, but I noticed a hole in the frame a spring sits in it, wondered if the depth of the water has gone in the hole and run along?
any advice would be appreciated

I know this isn't going to help but I've just took my caravan in for the same problem, its the sealer that has lost its adhesiveness on mine and capillary action is drawing the water in.

It shouldn't be too difficult to remove and reseal with something like roll mastic. Most, if not all the work can usually be done from inside. Hopefully it hasn't done any lasting damage regarding rot.

They did mine for £50, this was including the Butyl sealant tape and a bead of hybrid sealer on the outside edge to protect the seal.

Have you checked the frame for any cracks. We had ours crack and it was a dead straight line and almost looked as if it should be there.
