I have a 2005 Swift Equerry, 6 berth. Lovely condition however I have just been told by a dealer there is damp in the front corner. I have the van up for sale what should I do, Can I still sell? and how much should I reduce it down to?
selling price at the moment is £6,999.
first of all dont panic! i pressume the dealer that told you was also the one your going to either sell thr or part ex with? first stop would be to get someone else to take a look just in case the dealer is trying to pull a fast one to get you to lower the price

Thanks, I thought he was a private buyer! wasn't expecting a dealer tbh. I just want to sell it and be honest about the water.
the only person that has said about it being damp is the person that came to look at it! that doesnt mean it actually is damp, it more likely a way of panicking you into dropping the price, so go and get someone else to check it over, damp meters arent expensive you can check yourself. and you will need one anyway ready for buying your next caravan to be able to check for damp
Hi Tian, Like I said I thought he was private, He didn't say over the phone that he was a dealer when booking the viewing. But turned out to be a dealer!
