I have an in op spotlight that needs replacing in the kitchen, I can get the light out but can't find the end of the wires to disconnect it. it looks like you have to remove the beige trim to access the wires, any ideas how you remove the trim under the 2 cupboards next to the microwave?
I suspect the lid will simply snap off if you can pull it. Think of the lid a bit like a letter C. You will need to open up the C or squeeze it together to unclip it.
I would cut and inline crimp too or solder and heat shrink. Learned those skills in the RAF years ago.
I changed a rear one on our last Bailey.Luckily the connections were inside a cupboard so straight disconnect and reconnect job.
