I have a 2011 Lexon with a Thetford N112 Fridge. Just got back from holiday where I used the site 240 volt hook up. I switched over to the battery for the journey home. When I got home the fridge would not switch off when button pressed and a blue light continuously flashed. I presume there is a faulty circuit board but how do I get to it. Is it behind the front panel.

Have you tried holding the button in for four or five seconds?

Hello DaveS1. Yes. I have also disconnected the battery then reconnected it. I have switched over to Gas then 240 volt but no luck. If I new how to get to the back of the button or the PCB I could replace some parts and correct the fault by elimination. Regards

Before I sold last 2013 caravan in April this year I had same problem trying to switch over power source and I had to replace the control box fitted at base of fridge at the back of it. This means pulling fridge out. Ours was a N3112 Thetford but all work similar. Also the repair kit also included new control panel for top of the fridge. Obtained from Jackson leisure and speaking to them said trouble would be the control box which is modified and the new panel for front included.

Hello birdman101. Thanks. I shall contact Jackson Leisure for part details. Just out of interest. I have a 68 Reg Kuga ST Line AWD 2ltr Diesel Manual. What do you think of it as a tow car. Regards

I have the Diesel2020 ST line X AWD Auto Ecoblue and tows excellently 32 mpg towing.Solo regular 47+mpg I have towed caravans since 1973 and for the last 25 years had nothing but automatics previously towed with Sorento and Santa Fe. Would never ever go back to manual.

Hello again. I like Fords. Previously towed with a 2 Ltr SMax but found it light on the front, especially on hills. Changed to Kuga AWD for this reason. Find it a bit sluggish but then the weight of caravan is near max.

This particular topic is regarding a fridge fault, probably best to start a new topic re vehicles in the towcar section.

The 2020 auto is 8 speed box and has performance settings, certainly not sluggish in normal mode towing but there is a Sport mode. never needed it though
