to those who read my previous post this summer: I am keeping small wet spots from humidity creeping in due to age (20+yrs plus) well under control with a touch of anti mold spray and anti-damp granules, plus generous heating when I am present.
Today I am looking for someone local or near local with a good sense of fun, enjoying caravanning and the life style - to come and help me with my spring cleaning: Since my days as a locum social worker in my fifties, I have lived in the small 2-berth cvan (with some external storage space hired in) and I would like to continue doing so now I am retired. Unfortunately, I have developed a spot of arthritis and while I can still move about in the narrow space, I struggle a bit with spring cleaning (have done since 2021 when my last handyman here retired due to ill health). So I would be extremely grateful for someone nimble enough to help get into all crevices.
Due to all of my belongings being in there, I want to be on hand removing them for the clean job, and I can put most of them back on my own. I am going away for the winter on Dec 1, and as the job will be easier on longer days, I am now hoping to get it done early Mar 24. The last handyman took about 12 hrs, and of course I pay time. Job could be split over 2days. Or perhaps you have a handyperson among your acquaintances who could come and do the work for me? Many thanks. PS I am based on on a small residential site (budget type).
