Is expensive to get seals renewed, as the vent above my cooker is leaking very slightly
Would like it renewed before it gets worse.

Will all depend on the dealer or mobile engineers hourly rate. Only you will be able to find that out.

Depends whether you can do it yourself or not, and what you call expensive. The actual seal is quite cheap, when I did mine I bought it on a roll, but labour charges will be horrendous.

I agree with Colin, it's not difficult to do if you feel confident and will save you a fortunem. Don't rely on a silicon bodge or tape to fix it as they are only short term get you bye fixes. Also don't ignore is or things will rot.

I got mine from Kenmore Caravans ebay shop. They are very helpful and very quick on deliveries too, I have bought several things from them including a new roof vent that I had been told was obsolete and unavailable by a couple of different sources.

I used mastic strip like this on mine and is easily available. It comes in varying widths and colours to suit the application. Some use the non setting sealant that you squeeze out of a tube but I find it can be a bit messy.

Yes, very similar to what I used Dave. I'm sure it's available in many places, but I've dealt with Kenmore several times so I knew they were reliable.
