Hi All

Can anyone help !!!

I'm trying to find someone who can service/re-gas a Indel B Plein 12V/230V Roof mounted Air-Con unit

I can find people who supply the units but not people who service them

surpringly try kwick fit! they will hook the machine up and then if there is a fault it simply wont allow them to refill the gas, they then set about the repairs needed

I’m not techy. Are roof top units that different to service & re-gas than units under the car bonnet? I googled & got dozens of garages for those. (Other listings will be available.)

I can’t see Kwik fit climbing on the roof and removing the cowling
You can’t get access from the inside

if you dont phone them and ask then you will never find out, and seeing as they have the lifts for doing the cars then it would be easy to lift a person to reach the roof of a caravan

Possibly a commercial vehicle garage, they service roof mounted refrigeration units on lorries which are basically the same as a/c units.

If it's a sealed unit, like Dometic as an example, it shouldn't need to be re gassed.

If it's not then a refrigeration engineer should be able to do it.

If it’s lost its gas,very unlikely as sealed units, then it’s probably shot and needs replacing
