Hi everyone — first post here, thanks for having me! 🙂
I’m restoring an ABI Viceroy Supreme (I believe it’s 1996). I’m a bit stuck with the locks and I’d really appreciate any advice or leads.
What I’ve got so far
The door lock is marked Zadi 9301. I think this is a Vicam-style lock and it looks like replacements might be available, but I haven’t bought one yet.
The storage-box latches are the tricky ones. They’re unmarked and have a special action: when the cam turns it both catches and pulls the latch in (so the door/front panel pulls tight). I don’t know whether these are Vecam / Vicam or another make, and I’m having trouble finding the correct model.
Can anyone help with:
Identification — do these sound familiar (especially the pull-in style latch)?
Part numbers or supplier recommendations for either the Zadi 9301 or the storage-box latches
Where to look for used spares or compatible replacements (or whether anyone has spares)
Any DIY fixes or workaround alternatives if the exact part is impossible to find
I can add photos and measurements if that helps — just tell me what you need. Thanks in advance for any tips or links! Cheers, Paul
I have always found Kenmore Caravans to be very helpful with older caravan parts. They have an ebay site which has all sorts of useful things on. I have a 1992 Elddis Wisp and I have had several bits and pieces from them for it, including a door lock a few years ago. It might be worth a call to them.
