We are away at the minute and our fridge door is proving tricky to open. It seems to be catching or sticking and takes quite a bit of wiggling to open. I’ve just had a look and the bit at the bottom of the door looks like it might be missing a bit. Does anyone have this same fridge and if so, is there a bit broken off from the bottom and could this be the cause of the sticking door?

I’ve just found a photo online and it looks like there is indeed a bit broken off.

I need one of these https://www.primaleisure.com/product/1045071/dometic-rm8550-rmd8551-fridge-door-grey-stop

I will try a local caravan accessory shop tomorrow but it looks like we will have to order online and wait until we get home to get it.

At least I have worked out how to open the door. That little plastic button lifts the door ever so slightly so now, when opening the door, I just need to lift it slightly along the right hand edge before pulling it open.
