Hi i know its a long shot but i reqire a gas fitting its the alumiunum threaded capthat the thermocouple fastens to under fire , i was checking my fan out for maintenance problems and saw the cap was very corroded i know this apliance is now obsolete but this fire has served me well over the years i searched all over net but no luck anyway heres hoping
Maybe a professional gas fitter would have it as a standard piece of kit. You’ve presumably checked EBay - it complete fires too: a bit drastic for 20p worth of metal.
You could try a guy that used to post on here, he was an expert on caravan / motorhome heating systems. His business was Arc Systems, his name is Gary, phone number 07901 544431 phone between 9-5, email info at arcsystems.biz
I hope the information is still live, it is a couple of years old now.

Hi thanks for that info ive used gary in the past i know he is the number one man caravan problems but i thought he had retired from that sort of thing but i will give him a ring Cheers Stan.
Hello people hope you've been having a good Christmas, truth is though I have retired...finally!! and website closed, but still available for advice phone text or WhatsApp. In this case then, the valve is a standard domestic hob gas tap so may well still be available from domestic gas parts wholesalers. You'll then best ask a local domestic gas installer/repairer
Hi gary thanks for your info hope you are enjoying your retirement and happy new year and thanks for all the help you have given people on this site and others. ps ive tried some plumbers but can only find the next size down connectors so far but will keep trying thanks Stan
