Hello everyone
I have a 2018 Coachman Wanderer.I have damaged one the small front Dometic roller blinds .
I have watched some videos on You tube which go through the process of fixing it .The are very good and the people who post them are excellent .However I am not very competent and don't want to embark are fixing it until I have explored other avenues .
I have measured the overall blind and it is 810mm x 415 mm.I couldn't find one of this size online and the Dometic website is very uninformative and so I contacted Coachman 'Aftercare ' who told me to contact one of their dealers .I wrote back and said all needs was confirmation of the blind's supplier -Dometic? and the size .They came back and confirmed the supplier was Dometic and they said the size was 730mmx 410 !
I asked them if the size was the overall size or were they giving me the 'Internal' size of the blind om
only.
They came back and said that with regard to the size they gave me they were unable to advise on my question(of the size) because "we do not have a technical team in our department " !
Is anyone able to advise on the size of this blind please ?
Why does even the most simple thing have to overcomplicated and bureaucratic in the caravanning world?
I wish I was a millionaire with enough resources to shake up the caravan world with it's rapacious dealers and incompetent suppliers .they really do take us for mugs .
Ok rant over .
Thanks
