Hi all, I’ve searched strong this side trying to find help but feel I need to make a post for help. We’ve got a 1998 Abbey Spectrum 419 with a Carver 3600 stc. I replaced the full Fanmaster part as the fan was wobbly and noisy but the one thing which still doesn’t work is the auto ignition. The previous owner put a manual piezo igniter which is fine but I want to have it finishing properly.
I know I could just replace it with a Truma s3002 but want to repair what I have.
There’s no noise from anything trying to auto spark.

Have you tried any caravan breakers? Such as 1st time caravans at Rotherham,SFM caravan breakers,A.M liesure breakers,they may have an original ignitor box,note on my carver 3000 the piezo igniter is connected from the push button top of heater to the gas valve with a fine wire cable using mini spade terminals..Ive got a 92 Abbey GTS 212 🙂good luck
