Since I bought this van my fridge have been showing errors 9 & 10, my temperature fluctuates up and down indiscriminately. I run it on mains permanently, changed the PCB and thermistor but still showing up errors. Can't find an engineer anywhere....my two local companies don't want to know. You'd think they'd want the business, that's why they are what they are, or are they I'd like to know. It's a 2008 van, quite old but a goody, compass Corona 474. Anybody with any ideas please let me know. Happy motoring campers.

Can’t help specifically (hopefully someone here will), but I quoted your model & your two error codes on Google and there are a number of websites where people offer advice that has worked. (Ignore the AI generated stuff). I can’t do links, sorry.
Surprised that no mobile caravan service engineer wants the work, however.
Good luck.

Error 9 is a gas error! Either a gas supply issue (it can take some time to purge air from the gas pipes to get the fridge to reliably light and stay lit - may take several attempts! Lighting a gas hob first can help to clear air). Or it maybe the flame out sensor that has gone faulty and causing the control panel to shut down the gas as a safety measure due to not sensing a successfully lit flame.

Error 10 is a 'No engine running' error, the controls are not detecting a 12v supply from the tow car when the fridge is manually set to 12v supply. Try manually setting the power to something other than 12v.

You shouldn't be getting those errors if running off 240v EHU and fridge controls set correctly.

Erratic temperatures could be a thermostat fault, or even maybe an unstable 12v supply (from the leisure battery) to the control panel.

All could be a sign of the Control Panel PCB being faulty (even though you have replaced it!), and/or the wiring to it, corroded connectors are a common problem on all aspects of 12v systems on caravans! Specialist contact cleaner liquid can be a wonder solution!

If you don't have a manual for the fridge, you can download one from here: https://www.manuals.co.uk/thetford/n112/manual?p=8
