Hi Jim

Never heard such a crock, piezo clacker sets its own polarity, as it requires no external power source, cannot think what he was talking about.

Hi Jim
Sorry Mate, my mistake
I thought you had mixed the numbers up !! I was looking at the RM122 which is exactly the same as in my Old caravan, should not have assumed.

Sounds like a light has been left on and drained the battery , fully charge the battery and see if any lights are on when you reconnect it .

Hi Jim , have a look at this http://www.volvoclub.org.uk/towbar_electrics.shtml it shows the view when looking directly at the sockets on the car , from this you should be able to work out if you've wired the plugs correctly . Note the differences between the 1998 Pin Allocation and the 1999 Pin Allocation , you'll need to know which way your 12s car socket is wired before checking the plugs.
