Hi, have recently purchased a swift challenger 550/5 caravan.  However we seem to have a little problem with the water not flowing into the bathroom.  It flows to the kitchen sink fine, there are two sets of taps in the bathroom (one for the shower and one for the sink), the water doesn't seem to get as far as the bathroom. neither hot nor cold tap will work.  is there anyone out ther who has had a similar problem and could give some much appreciated advice.

Thanks

tunnyperry

when you turn the tap on is there click because if not the micro switch is goosed if thats ok the its probably air traped in the system you have to drain it all including the hot water tank then when you connect back up to the water open all taps on hot then turn pump on and just wait till water starts to come out and you should be ok.

hope this helps let me know how you get on

Hi there,

We had a very similar problem on our first outing of the year....turned out to be a simple blockage in the pipe caused by insects etc,

If you follow the piping from the pump it will eventually lead you to a 'Y' junction connector, dis-connect the washroom pipe and give it a good blow-out, hopefully this should solve the problem. (it did for us).

Good Luck.

Grub.

It could be a wire disconnected if its affecting several microswitches.

Check with a meter or test lamp to see if you have power at the tap or run a lead to the tap from the battery via a fuse and see if it works.

Just a thought but might be worth following the pipes along to make sure your not leaking down the inside of a wall or something before you start pumping more water round the pipes. Might be something as simple as a jubilee clip not been tightened up properly on a joint.
