I have noticed that the floor in my 2000 Elddis Typhoon has an annoying creak at times. This seems to be coming from the floor area near the heater, do I need to worry about this? The floor doesn't move or have any spongy areas. The caravan is still under warranty until next June. Thanks.
Hi, If the floor shows no signs of Delam then the problem from your description is proberbly the fire front moving about as you walk up and down the van, most likely cause of this is the installation box of the fire has been ill fitted, get your dealer on it's next service to check the fitting!!
i had a whirlwind with this prob: and found i could cure it by leveling the legs.eg lowering the legs and trying for noise ,contacted dealer who advised it could be the suspension[never found true cause sold the b------ thing
