putting petrol in a diesel tank isnt a daft as it may first appear.If you put a litre of petrol into a full tank of diesel it cleans your fuel system without any problems,its cheaper than the additives that you can buy & works better to.Helpful just before your MOT.Ive tried it,and it works,but if you do bugger your car(you wont)you have never heard of me.............who!

On morrisbobs point re contamination I work on a chemical plant,we use lines for multi products and we put a pig(not literally) down the line and blow it down the the line,this clears most of the product from the line,we then send the first 50gallons or so to a flush tank or drum then send the fresh product down the line.Bit boring and technical for a new years eve but still in work mode!!
