After many years of camping on the continent in a Trailer tent, my wife and I have decided to "upgrade" to a caravan. After months of searching we eventually found the caravan that hopefully will suit us.
As we intend to caravan mostly in Spain we decided also to purchase the caravan there and plan to collect it sometime in April.
Does anyone know if I will to have a different car wiring arrangements - presumably the caravans in Spain are wired differently?
Hello timdor. A friend of ours has bought two new caravans in Spain of different makes. Both of them had the 13pin connector, but each was wired differently.One was wired in 10core, the other 9core cable. Neither of them had the pins connected for 12v charging whilst towing. I towed them both with my vehicle(12n + 12s) using a 7pin (12n)to 13pin adaptor, thus only the roadlights worked.
