hiya julie, dont let me put you off buying a meter but measuring damp inn a van is a very presise job, all vans have a certain amount of moisture/ condensation, this moisture will set of any cheap meter that bleeps or has flashing lights, a good meter as used in the trade will cost around 120.00. good money for a good tool = good job done
hi don't buy them you need a Protimeter this what the caravan repairs use the ones at b&q don't waste your money buy one of theses and it will save you thousands of pounds in money the cheap one don't read behind the wallboards and to use it you need to pull the rubbers back and push the probes in to gaps in the wood and this is the best way to find damp and you will never be with out it
