Does anyone know where I can buy a good polyurethane sealant online? I am wanting to use it to re-seal windows and rails on my caravan.

Thanks Matt

Yea i'm with Paul & Wendy on that one Matt....a good quality silicone sealant would be fine for the windows etc, and mastic on a roll would be fine for the rails (just £2.99 for a 10m roll from the link i suggested)

All the best.

You need to make sure you use a flexible sealant because any sealant that sets Will just crack open with the flexing of the caravan. Household sealants are just not man enough for the job. I would suggest you visit a local caravan dealer and buy sealer there, at least you will get the right stuff for the job.

clear silicone sealer is no good as it lifts when panels get warm with sun then leak when it rains.use the flexi selant that does not set as this will move with panels when warm and does not leak .

the previous owner of my van used silicone sealer on sky lights after a heavy down pour water was dripping in around sky light . so up on roof igoes unscrewed sky light corr you should seen amount of silicone that was there .

cleaned it all off re sealed with flexi selant no more leaks if fact did both sky lights and all seams on roof of my romma van and side rails .no leaks now ..

so the flexi selant is the best as does not set hard but moves with panals when get warm with the sun .
