Hi there is it ok to fill the water tank on the cassette toilet,before setting off on a journey.

I always put about a litre and a half in the flushing tank. Not noticed any stability problems as a result.

Hi, i always half fill ours and it's not caused any noticeable difference. It's handy if you or the kids need to use it on route..------------- Doing as little as possible for as much as possible...

In the summer we just leave the flush fluid in the warmer weather but we drain down everything in the winter------------- I might grow old...But!

i never carry any water anywhere,the reason is its so heavy 10lbs a gallon.i dont think the fittings are designed for this.if you brake hard for any reason the force could damage the tank and the weight could lead to instability.the bailey handbook page 93 says in bold letters:- quote.. caution; make sure that all the flush and holding tanks are both completely empty before towing. appart from this 10lb less water means you can take other things.
