I've been trying to test the Carver Caravelle heater and Carver Cascade Mark 1 water heater (circular copper tank model) in a caravan, yet am struggling to get them working,
There are no ignition buttons or dials on the heaters themselves, so i assume that i use the 2 control boxes on the wall of the caravan with dial and buttons to 'light' the heaters?
On mine, the water heater on electric is a simple on/off switch on the side of the bedbox, a red light tells you it is on. On gas, there is a control on the side of the wardrobe, press the button and it fires up.
The heating also has a control on the side of the wardrobe, there is one button to press and it cycles through gas low, gas high, leccy low, leccy high - stop pressing when you get the one you want and it fires up automatically. There is also a dial for the thermostat.
Don't know if that helps at all, Grub.

If you can't see the light at the end of the tunnel, just keep going till you go round the bend.
The Caravelle works more or less the same, only the temperature sensor is in the water tank for the Cascade and in the switch for the room heater.
Basically though you push the switches down and set the respective temperatures, they then look after themselves. Any problem and the green light will flash, well that's how they should work!!
