please can anyone tell me if it is possible to connect straight to a mains water supply and do away with the need for a container and pump? if so how??
if it is not possible i need a new pump can anyone recomend a good one that will give me good pressure for the shower?

It depends on the make / model of your van / water attachment.
The most common mains water adapters these days still use the drum and pump, they just keep the container filled up for you.
There are other methods, but you will need to purchase a suitable pressure reducer.

have seen the aquaroll mains adaptor kit and will go for one of those.
so will def need new pump as i have a carver crystal pump (i think!) and pump is not working properly, it is leaking water back so will need to replace it, any one ideas on what i can replace it with??
The one that goes straight into your caravan is based on reducing the pressure. The problem si that it reduces the pressure so much that it is a pain having a shower under a trickle.
