Have been trying stuff out on our van and found that when we pour water down the sink some of it comes up through the shower plughole. Tony's going to look at it this afternoon but we don't know what could be causing it . Any ideas???
Do you have one or two waste outlets coming out of the van?
If only one, it sounds like a blockage just after te point where the sink and shower pipes are joined. The sink (being higher than the shower) would allow water to pass back up. I dont suppose youve left the exterior drainpipe cover on ???
If you have two seperate outlets for waste it ould possible be a blockage in the 'Y' shaped connector (if you use one) that goes into the waste container.
We sometimes get water coming up shower plughole, thought it might be waste hoses being narrow bore and submerged in waste container outside so not allowing quick release of waste water. We put a sink plug in shower plughole to stop water coming up.

Do you suffer from an OCD. Obsessive Caravan Disorder.
hi on our other caravan we had the same problem, after cleaning out all the pipes to a high standard it still did it,found at the end it was the caravan not level from side to side.instead of leaving the water was collecting at the point of the shower drain and coming up onto the shower floor.when the caravan was level it did not do it.
